Royal Dental Care is seeking an experienced, highly organised and reliable Senior Dental Assistant to join our busy and growing Liverpool practice.

We are looking for a confident and proactive individual who takes pride in delivering high standards of clinical support, infection control, patient care and practice organisation.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting our clinicians, maintaining efficient daily clinical operations and ensuring our patients receive an exceptional standard of care.

This is a predominantly clinical dental assisting role, offering exposure to general dentistry, orthodontics, implant dentistry and surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality chairside assistance for general dental, orthodontic, implant and surgical procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, equipment and materials before each procedure.
- Maintain excellent standards of infection control, sterilisation and clinical hygiene.
- Ensure correct preparation, packing, sterilisation and management of dental instruments and surgical kits.
- Support dentists and clinicians to maintain an efficient and organised clinical workflow.
- Assist with clinical stock control, ordering and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised clinical environment.
- Provide professional, friendly and compassionate patient care.
- Guide and support junior Dental Assistants when required.




- Take initiative in identifying and improving clinical efficiency and daily operations.

Essential Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience.
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilisation procedures.
- Excellent chairside assisting skills and clinical knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and confidently support clinicians.
- Highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced dental environment.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Weekend availability is essential.

Highly Regarded

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting.
- Previous experience in a Senior Dental Assistant role.
- Experience using Core Practice dental software.
- Orthodontic assisting experience.
- Implant and surgical assisting experience.
- Experience with clinical stock management and ordering.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required.
