An exciting opportunity is being explored for an experienced Head Breakfast/Lunch Chef to lead the kitchen of a current neighbourhood café and wood-fired kitchen in Bentleigh.
We’re looking for a passionate, hands-on chef who loves creating outstanding breakfast and lunch dishes and wants the opportunity to develop a fresh menu.
What we’re offering:
- Predominantly daytime hours
- Five-day working week
- $70000 - $75000 salary plus superannuation
- Two traditional wood-fired pizza ovens
- Creative input into menu development
- Opportunity to build and lead a small kitchen team
- Support from an experienced hospitality owner/operator
Experience with wood-fired ovens would be highly regarded, but isn’t essential for the right candidate.
This is an initial expression of interest for a proposed new venue, subject to acquisition proceeding.
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
