About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Revit Documenter / Commercial Interior Designer to collaborate with our studio on a project-by-project basis.
Our practice specialises in commercial interior design, particularly retail, hospitality, food and beverage, and shopping centre fit-outs. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical documentation skills, advanced Revit proficiency and the ability to work independently to deliver accurate, high-quality construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities
● Prepare detailed design development and construction documentation using Autodesk Revit.
● Produce floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, joinery details and finishes schedules.
● Develop comprehensive construction documentation packages for commercial interior fit-out projects.
● Translate design concepts into accurate, practical and buildable technical drawings.
● Ensure drawings address relevant NCC requirements, Australian Standards and accessibility requirements.
● Maintain drawing accuracy, consistency and compliance with studio documentation standards.
● Work independently and meet agreed project deadlines.
Essential Requirements
● Minimum 5 years of skilled experience in commercial interior design and construction documentation.
● Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential.
● Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, joinery detailing and technical documentation.
● Sound understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards and accessibility requirements.
● Ability to interpret design concepts and develop detailed construction drawings.
● Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and time management.
● Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
● Relevant qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture.Working Arrangements
