This is a casual personal trainer role with Jamie Fitness in Barker Creek Flat, coaching clients one-to-one. You build your ongoing client base over time, so it does not come with a ready-made book of clients or guaranteed full time hours.
What we are looking for
A Cert IV in Fitness, or be close to finishing it. By your start date you will need current First Aid, CPR and a Working with Children Check.
Day to day
- Run one-to-one training sessions with clients.
- Be part of our mentoring and team workshops.
- Explain the training offer to people thinking about starting.
- Follow the team's coaching and administrative systems.
- No gym rent is charged. Jamie Fitness handles marketing and administrative support.
Pay structure
You are employed as a casual, with super and applicable commission. The hourly rate depends on your ongoing weekly client hours:
- $40.17 per hour for up to 25 client hours a week
- $45 per hour for 25 to 30 client hours a week
- $55 per hour for 30 or more client hours a week
- Hours you need to be free
We need you free four afternoons or evenings a week, roughly 3pm to 8.30pm, and two mornings. This is the availability we require; it is not a guarantee of paid hours.
