Linked Anchor Allied Health is seeking expressions of interest from Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) to support NDIS participants across NSW.

Locations: Wagga Wagga, Dubbo, Nowra, Orange, Tamworth, Newcastle, Wollongong, Central Coast, Goulburn, Coffs Harbour and surrounding communities. Applications from other NSW locations are also welcome.

About the role

You will deliver face-to-face supports in participants’ homes and community settings, implementing therapy activities delegated by an allied health practitioner.

Our practitioners may provide assessments in person and continue their clinical involvement through telehealth. As a local AHA, you will help participants practise skills between clinician appointments, under appropriate direction and supervision.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Implementing delegated therapy activities within your training and competence
- Helping participants work towards their everyday goals
- Recording session notes and reporting progress to the supervising practitioner
- Reporting changes,



concerns or difficulties promptly
- Following therapy plans, safety procedures and professional boundaries

What we’re looking for:

- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, or relevant qualifications and experience suitable for the delegated work
- Experience supporting people with disability, or a strong interest in this area
- Ability to follow instructions and work under clinical supervision
- Valuable communication and documentation skills
- Relevant screening and checks for the role
- An ABN and appropriate insurance for subcontracting
- Reliable transport and ability to attend local participant visits

Flexible availability is welcome. Rates, travel arrangements and supervision processes will be discussed before engagement. Work will depend on participant demand, location and suitability.
