A well-established, self-performing civil contractor with a history stretching back decades is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join their delivery team.

This family-owned business is now run day to day by an experienced leadership team with strong tier-one backgrounds, while the family remains closely involved. They specialise in road projects and subdivisions, are currently very busy with a robust pipeline of work, and are tipped to grow further as the market continues to heat up. Projects typically range from $10 to $15 million.

The Role

- Lead project delivery across programme, cost, quality and safety outcomes
- Manage and develop project engineers, cadets and supervisors, plus the broader site team
- Carry full responsibility for procurement and project budgets
- Report directly to the Project Manager
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and plant/machinery logistics
- Prepare and manage Inspection and Test Plans, RFIs and technical documentation




- Deliver civil infrastructure works including stormwater, drainage, bulk earthworks, utilities, subdivisions and landscaping
- Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities to support project delivery

About You

- Civil engineering background with experience delivering road and subdivision projects
- Experience managing project teams, budgets and procurement
- Strong working knowledge of stormwater, drainage, and subdivisions
- Practical, organised and capable of operating with a high level of autonomy
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Looking to step up onto larger-scale projects
