Qualifications

Essential

Current Victorian driver licence

Employee Working with Children Check

Tertiary qualification in town planning or equivalent and eligibility for membership of Planning Institute of Australia

Experience

Desirable

- Experience within Victorian local government statutory planning.
- Experience preparing material for VCAT proceedings.
- Experience using Tech 1, GIS,



ECM or similar local government systems

Key selection criteria 1

Demonstrated experience assessing planning permit applications under the Planning and Environment Act 1987 and Victorian Planning Provisions.

Key selection criteria 2

Ability to prepare clear, concise and well-reasoned planning reports and correspondence.

Key selection criteria 3

Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively with applicants, objectors, consultants and the community.
