Sports Remedial Massage Therapist & Corporate Mobile Massage Therapist

The Role

MBS Remedial Massage Sydney is seeking a passionate and professional Sports Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team.

We are also looking for a Corporate Mobile Massage Therapist to service our corporate clients in Sydney CBD when required.

This is a hands-on role suited to a therapist with experience in Remedial, Sports or Physiotherapy-based treatments, with a strong focus on client care, customer service and achieving excellent treatment outcomes.

We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career with our clinic and develop strong, professional relationships with our clients.

Position Requirements

- Qualified Remedial Massage Therapist, Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist
- Australian or overseas qualifications will be considered
- Strong hands-on treatment approach
- Experience in remedial massage, sports massage, stretching and strong treatment techniques
- Excellent personal presentation and grooming
- Friendly, reliable and professional manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Strong commitment to client care and treatment outcomes

Availability

We are looking for someone committed to a long-term position. This is not a short-term role.

Available shifts include:

Monday–Friday

- 11:00am–7:00pm – 8 hours
- 9:00am–3:00pm – 6 hours
- 08:00-2:00pm - 6 hours
- 1:00pm–7:00pm – 6 hours
- 2:00pm–8:00pm – 6 hours

Saturday

- 10:00am–4:00pm – 6 hours

Sunday

- 10:00am–4:00pm – 6 hours

We are particularly interested in applicants who can commit to regular weekly shifts.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough client assessments to identify areas of concern
- Develop personalised treatment plans based on each client's needs and goals
- Perform a range of remedial massage techniques, including:
- Soft tissue manipulation
- Deep tissue massage
- Trigger point therapy
- Myofascial release




- Stretching and mobility techniques
- Sports massage techniques
- Educate clients on treatment benefits and provide appropriate self-care and lifestyle advice
- Maintain accurate and detailed client treatment records
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the client's experience
- Follow all clinic policies, procedures and skilled standards
- Contribute to the smooth and professional operation of the clinic
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training

What We're Looking For

- Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent qualification
- Certificate IV therapists who are experienced and willing to continue learning will also be considered
- Physiotherapists or equivalent practitioners with a strong hands-on approach are encouraged to apply
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to educate and support clients professionally
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to develop personalised treatment plans
- Passion for health, wellness and helping clients achieve positive outcomes
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Physiotherapy and Osteopathy qualifications are highly regarded

Additional qualifications and experience in the following modalities are highly regarded:

- Dry Needling
- Cupping
- Lymphatic Drainage
- Pregnancy Massage
- Sports Massage
- Myofascial Release
- Other relevant treatment modalities and professional training
