Join a supportive national sales team where you can grow your career and make a real impact. We’re looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join our local team and help drive new business, build robust client relationships and secure new bookings.

Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is South Australia’s leading provider of venue management services. It is responsible for operating three of Adelaide’s most iconic venues:Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC),Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC), andCoopers Stadium (CS), in addition to functions and events atThe Drive (TD).

What You’ll Do

- Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive sales and revenue.
- Respond to client enquiries and prepare tailored proposals and quotations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Manage sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to booking confirmation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding client experiences.




- Proactively follow up on leads and contribute to achieving sales targets.

What We’re Looking For

- Around three years of experience in business events, venue sales or a similar sales environment.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and securing business.
- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A client-focused mindset with a solid drive to achieve results.Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard business hours when required.
