Maxwell Recruitment is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to work with a major food-manufacturing facility in Botany. This is an site-based maintenance role, working Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with overtime and shutdown work available when required.

Key responsibilities

- TIG and MIG welding stainless steel and mild steel
- Fabricating, installing and modifying chutes, hoppers, guarding, brackets, frames, platforms and handrails
- Fabricating and repairing conveyor components and pipework
- Completing sanitary tube and food-grade stainless-steel welding
- Grinding, polishing and finishing welds to food-manufacturing standards
- Working from engineering drawings, sketches and site measurements
- Responding to plant breakdowns requiring welding or fabrication repairs





About you

- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent trade qualification
- Minimum two years' post-trade experience
- Previous maintenance experience within food, beverage, pharmaceutical or similar FMCG manufacturing
- Ability to read drawings and fabricate from measurements or sketches
- Overtime, weekend and shutdown opportunities
- Work within a leading food-manufacturing facility
- Variety of fabrication, maintenance and breakdown work
