What's the role?
You'll be at the centre of the action, helping protect the ideas, inventions and brands shaping the world around us.
Working 1:1 with your author on files from commencement to completion, your day-to-day will include:
- Preparing and lodging patent, trade mark and design applications
- Keeping deadlines, renewals and registrations on track
- Keeping files in impeccable order
From emerging technologies to engineering innovations and global brands,
you'll gain exposure to a diverse range of matters across Australia and internationally.
What we're looking for
You're a dedicated paralegal, who may already have IP experience, or maybe this is an area you've always wanted to work in. What matters most is that you're organised, switched on and eager to learn. You'll ideally have:
- At least 1 year of experience as a paralegal in a law firm
- Exceptional attention to detail and a natural knack for keeping things organised.
- Strong written communication skills and a professional approach to client service.
- The ability to juggle competing priorities without letting the details slip.
- A proactive attitude and an interest in developing specialist expertise.
