Job Description

As Senior Analyst, Operational Intelligence, you will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive operational performance, strategic decision-making and continuous improvement across the business. Partnering with leaders and stakeholders across multiple functions, you will analyse complex operational data, identify emerging trends and opportunities, and deliver meaningful intelligence that supports business outcomes and enhances operational effectiveness.

In This Role You Will

- Develop and deliver operational intelligence,



turning complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Drive the evolution of operational reporting through automated, scalable and self-service data solutions.
- Contribute to Jetstar's operational data governance framework and shared semantic layer, stewarding data, owning definitions, developing proof of concepts, and supporting a single source of truth that the broader Operations Delivery team depends on.
- Partner with operational leaders to understand use cases, identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities across key performance metrics.
- Provide analytical support for performance investigations, business initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Translate operational and commercial data into meaningful insights that optimise performance, manage risk and improve customer outcomes.

You Will Bring

- Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, and learn effectively across operational, commercial, technology and leadership teams.
- Experience in an airline operational environment, with a strong understanding of operational performance drivers and decision-making.
- Proven experience developing data products,



dashboards and analytical insights in a production setting.
- Strong SQL and Python skills with experience writing clean, well-documented code to automate data pipelines, and deliver analytical data products that others can depend on.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake or equivalent modern data environments.
- Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or a related quantitative discipline.
