The Team

The Real Estate team advises major Australian clients on a broad range of commercial property matters, with particular expertise in leasing, property development and acquisitions and disposals. The practice works across the retail, industrial and mixed-use sectors, acting for leading institutional investors, developers, landlords and property operators.

The Role

An excellent opportunity exists for a Lawyer or Associate (2–4 PQE) to join a highly regarded Real Estate practice in Melbourne.

Working closely with experienced Partners and a collaborative team, you will:

- Advise on a broad range of commercial property matters, with a particular focus on retail and commercial leasing.
- Act for major institutional investors, developers, landlords and property operators.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial leasing agreements and related property documentation.
- Work directly with clients,



providing practical and commercially focused advice throughout transactions.

About you

Ideally, you will have 2–4 years' post-admission experience gained within a well-regarded property practice.

Additionally, you will have:

- Strong experience in commercial property matters, particularly retail and commercial leasing.
- Excellent drafting skills and solid attention to detail.
- A sound understanding of property transactions and the broader commercial real estate market.
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
