Role Description This is a full-time Psychologist position in a hybrid work arrangement, based in Nowra, NSW, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Psychologist will provide individual and group therapy, conduct psychological assessments, and develop treatment plans using evidence-based interventions. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical records, liaising with referrers and other health professionals, and contributing to case discussions and care coordination. The role also involves participating in service development activities,



engaging in supervision and professional development, and supporting a safe, inclusive environment for clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Psychology, including theoretical knowledge and applied practice.
- Experience or training in Counseling and Mental Health support across diverse client presentations.
- Competence in Psychological Assessment, including administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized measures.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology and eligibility for registration with the appropriate qualified body (e.g., AHPRA).
- Demonstrated ability to use evidence-based therapeutic approaches and maintain high ethical standards.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary context.
- Comfort with hybrid work, including secure use of telehealth and digital record systems.
- Prior experience in private practice, community mental health, or healthcare settings is an advantage.
