Bay City Auto Group is looking for an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our team in Frankston.

If you know your way around automotive spare parts, enjoy helping customers and take pride in delivering great service, we'd love to hear from you!

What you'll be doing

You'll play an important role in keeping our customers and workshop operations moving by providing productive, accurate parts support across internal, trade and retail sales.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Assisting customers with automotive parts enquiries over the phone and at the counter.
- Identifying and supplying the correct parts for each application.
- Supporting internal workshop requirements, trade customers and retail clients.
- Preparing quotes, processing orders and following up on parts enquiries.
- Building strong relationships through professional, reliable customer service.
- Working closely with the team to ensure parts are supplied accurately and on time.

What we're looking for

takes ownership of their work and understands the importance of getting it right the first time.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

- Previous automotive spare parts experience - essential.
- Strong product knowledge and the ability to identify the right parts.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and manage your workload.
- A professional approach and pride in your presentation.
- A positive, team-focused attitude.

Experience with the Pentana DMS is highly regarded, and multi-franchise parts experience will be a definite advantage.
