Senior Associate | Family Law | Melbourne
Our client is a growing, community-focused Melbourne law firm practising across family law, wills and estates, commercial, litigation and property. They are looking for a Senior Associate to run a family law practice and lead a small team of junior lawyers. Full time, with hybrid working.
The role
- Run a varied family law caseload from first advice through to negotiation, settlement and litigation
- Appear in court and brief counsel where needed
- Draft court documents, agreements and correspondence
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers
- Contribute to business development
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years PAE with a robust family law focus
- Current Victorian practising certificate
- Experience running family law matters end to end, including court appearances
- Experience supervising junior lawyers, or ready to step into that
- Full working rights in Australia
