Medacs Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Emergency Department for a contract opportunity in Port Lincoln, South Australia, from 30 November to 8 January.
This is a fantastic opportunity to spend the summer working in a rural and remote healthcare setting while enjoying the stunning coastline, renowned seafood, and relaxed lifestyle of the Eyre Peninsula.
About the Role
You will join a supportive team within a Multi-Purpose Service (MPS), delivering high-quality emergency care in a diverse clinical workplace. This role is ideal for experienced emergency nurses who are confident working autonomously and taking on leadership responsibilities when required.
Essential Criteria
- Current AHPRA registration
- Recent Emergency Department experience
- Previous Rural and Remote or MPS experience highly regarded
- Demonstrated Team Leader experience
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently within a regional healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
