We're partnering with a highly regarded, large-scale organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Team Leader to oversee the delivery of accurate and compliant payroll services for approximately 8,000 employees.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you'll lead a team of four payroll professionals, overseeing fortnightly payroll operations, resolving complex issues and driving continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, coaching and developing an established payroll team.
- Overseeing payroll processing, reconciliations and pre/post-payroll checks.
- Resolving complex payroll calculations, escalations and compliance matters.
- Ensuring accurate interpretation of Enterprise Agreements and Australian payroll legislation.
- Driving process improvements, internal controls and operational efficiencies.
- Building strong relationships with Payroll Compliance, HR and Finance stakeholders.
