About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll play a key role in supporting business performance, strengthening financial controls and providing meaningful insights to support strategic decision-making. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business, particularly our Marketing teams, to bring a strong financial perspective to commercial decisions. You’ll also lead and support a Finance Analyst, helping build capability within the team and drive continuous improvement across our finance processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine financial expertise, commercial thinking and stakeholder partnership in a fast-paced FMCG environment, working with iconic brands and collaborating with teams across Australia and New Zealand.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead monthly performance reviews, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, providing clear insights into business performance across Australia and New Zealand.
- Commercial Business Partnering: Partner with Marketing,



Supply Chain and other teams to support commercial decisions, pricing strategies, cost management and new product development proposals.
- Financial Control: Oversee month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting and the integrity of our financial systems across both entities.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop and enhance financial models, BI reporting and dashboards to turn complex data into actionable business insights.
- Compliance & Governance: Support compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax requirements and statutory obligations across Australia and New Zealand, while coordinating annual audits.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen financial controls and improve reporting consistency across both markets.
- People Leadership: Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the Finance Analyst, fostering collaboration, development and high-quality delivery.

About You

You’re an analytical and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working beyond the numbers. You’re comfortable challenging assumptions, building relationships with stakeholders and translating financial information into clear,



practical recommendations.

You’ll ideally bring:

- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, together with a completed CA or CPA qualification (required).
- Strong experience in financial planning and analysis, financial control and management reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems; exposure to BI tools such as Power BI is highly regarded.
- A solid understanding of accounting standards, financial controls and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to make financial information accessible to non-finance teams.
- Previous experience in FMCG, commercial finance or team leadership will be highly regarded.
