Pipemakers is looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team at Deer Park.
If you enjoy troubleshooting electrical issues, keeping machinery running and working in a hands-on manufacturing environment, this could be the role for you.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving our electrical systems and equipment, supporting production and ensuring all work meets Australian Standards and safety requirements.
What you’ll be doing
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems, machinery and equipment
- Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs to minimise production downtime
- Complete preventative maintenance, inspections and testing
- Test and calibrate equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Identify opportunities to improve electrical systems and equipment efficiency
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues
- Ensure all electrical work complies with Australian Standards and relevant regulations
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and electrical compliance documentation
- Manage electrical parts, consumables and maintenance supplies
- Support maintenance planning and contribute to estimates and work schedules
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members
- Follow secure work practices, including isolation procedures and testing for dead
- Participate in safety inspections, risk assessments and continuous improvement activities
About you
You’re a practical, safety-focused electrician who enjoys solving problems and working as part of a team.
You’ll bring:
- Current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence
- At least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience maintaining industrial machinery and electrical systems
- Good understanding of electrical standards, regulations and workplace safety
- Ability to read technical information and follow procedures
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Good organisation and time management
- A reliable attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
Experience with industrial instrumentation, equipment calibration or production machinery will be highly regarded.
