We are looking for a Civil Supervisor to fill a full-time position to lead and supervise civil construction crews across subdivision and infrastructure projects, ensuring works are planned, coordinated and delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and to the required quality and technical standards. The Civil Construction Site Supervisor is responsible for daily site leadership, workforce and resource coordination, subcontractor and plant management, quality control, stakeholder communication and limited hands-on support where required. Advantages Task & responsibilities Lead and supervise civil crews across subdivision, underground services and infrastructure projects. Directly supervise and direct crews of approximately 2-5 workers, including plant operators, pipelayers and civil labourers, and allocate and check their work. Plan daily works, conduct pre-starts and toolbox talks, allocate labour and coordinate work priorities. Coordinate trenching, earthworks, pipe, conduit, pit, drainage, concreting and reinstatement activities. Read and interpret drawings, plans, specifications, scope documents and work instructions. Ensure works are completed safely, on schedule, within the approved scope and to specification. Monitor productivity, progress and quality, and promptly address delays, hazards, defects and non-conformances. Coordinate plant, operators, subcontractors, tools, materials and deliveries to meet project requirements. Confirm personnel are appropriately inducted, trained, competent,



licensed and equipped for allocated tasks. Ensure compliance with WHS obligations, environmental controls, company procedures and project requirements. Complete site records, inspections, reports, timesheets and other project documentation accurately and on time. Maintain effective communication with Project Management, principal contractors, clients, suppliers and other stakeholders. Attend site and coordination meetings, provide progress updates and escalate matters that may affect safety, quality, cost or program. Lead by example and promote a practical, positive safety, quality and team culture. As a secondary duty, operate civil plant and assist with hands-on civil works where licensed, competent and required.

Supervision, planning and coordination are expected to make up at least 80% of work Ensure plant, tools and equipment are operated, inspected and maintained in accordance with manufacturer instructions and company procedures. Qualification & experience Construction Induction (White Card). Current Australian Driver Licence. Relevant plant licences, tickets or VOCs, such as excavator, skid steer, loader or backhoe, are highly regarded. Certificate III or Certificate IV in Civil Construction (or equivalent), or 1 year of relevant civil experience, Civil Contractor Management or Frontline Leadership qualification is desirable. Ability to obtain and maintain any project-required police clearance, medical clearance and drug and alcohol screening.
