We are seeking a full time Electrical TA to provide effective labouring and operational support to electricians, communications technicians and site teams, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures and work health and safety requirements. Benefits Task & responsibilities Provide general labouring support to electricians. Operate and maintain plant, tools and equipment in positive order in accordance with the operator’s manual, company procedures and good practice. Assist electricians with installation, maintenance and commissioning works. Install cable tray, conduit, cable supports and electrical infrastructure. Pull and terminate cables under supervision. Assist with switchboard, lighting, power and communications installations. Interpret basic drawings and follow work instruction. Maintain effective communication with team members, supervisors and other stakeholders. Identify and report hazards, incidents,



near misses and unsafe work practices. Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings and required training programs. Complete basic site documentation, timesheets and records as required. Undertake other duties within the scope of the role and competency level as reasonably directed. Qualification & experience Construction Induction (White Card). Minimum 1 year experience in electrical construction, infrastructure or related trade assistant roles. Able to work autonomously and as part of a team. Ability to plan own work within established guidelines. Ability to ensure all work conducted meets safety legislative requirements and responsibilities of MEC NT.

This includes complying with all workplace instructions and procedures, using protective equipment provided and not placing anyone's safety at risk by your actions.
