LGT Wealth Management was established in Australia with a clear vision: to bring global best practice in building institutional-quality investment portfolios to Australian clients. The business combines an entrepreneurial spirit and personalised, client-first service with a deep understanding of the Australian private wealth landscape.
Since joining LGT Group in 2022, LGT Wealth Management has been supported by the group’s global expertise, stability and capabilities. This backing enables the business to focus on providing high-quality advice and specialist knowledge to clients over the long term. The organisation values thoughtful investment, strong relationships and continuous improvement in the services and solutions it provides.
About The Role
LGT Bank is seeking experienced Business Analysts to join its growing Delivery function and support strategic change and mandatory initiatives across the wealth management business. These are 12-month fixed-term contract opportunities for professionals who can connect business needs with practical, well-defined solutions and support delivery from early requirements through to release.
In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers and technology teams to shape initiatives, define requirements and contribute to high-quality outcomes across business platforms. You will help translate complex needs into clear, sprint-ready user stories and support teams through design, development, testing and implementation.
The opportunities may suit candidates with experience in regulatory and compliance initiatives, operational scale and efficiency, process optimisation, performance reporting, financial products, digital onboarding or data-focused projects.
Qualifications A degree qualification is required. Candidates should have at least three years of experience as a Business Analyst, or five or more years of experience in wealth management with business analysis responsibilities. Experience working with wealth advisory or private banking platforms is important, and Avaloq experience is highly desirable.
You will bring practical knowledge of process mapping, requirements gathering and user story development, along with experience working in Agile environments. Proficiency with JIRA and advanced Excel skills is expected. An understanding of wealth management products and services will be valuable, while knowledge of the software development life cycle and change methodologies will be an advantage.
You should be methodical, resilient and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, clarify requirements, prioritise work and resolve issues across multiple initiative streams. Document requirements and translate them into concise,
actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Walk through stories with business and technology teams, and support Senior Business Analysts and Business Owners in breaking epics into manageable delivery items.
Work with project managers to plan and coordinate the business and technical components of initiatives. Support developers and testers throughout sprint cycles, helping teams meet sprint goals and deliver value to stakeholders. Contribute across definition, design and testing, maintaining traceability between requirements, test cases and outcomes.
Prepare stakeholder communications, support demonstrations and training, and assist with business procedure documentation. Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to business cases or lean canvases for future initiatives.
Benefits
Join a growing delivery team working on meaningful business change within wealth management. You will collaborate with experienced colleagues across business and technology and contribute to initiatives that support clients, improve processes and strengthen business capabilities. LGT Wealth Management is committed to ongoing employee development, with development tailored to your role and future career path. These positions are offered as 12-month fixed-term contracts.
Equal Chance
LGT Bank is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. The organisation seeks to attract and retain talented people regardless of gender, marital or parental status, ethnic origin, nationality, age, background, disability, sexual orientation or gender identity.
