Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

As a Cadet Engineer / Civil Designer–Drafter, your responsibilities will include:

Civil Design & Drafting

- Preparing civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil Site Design
- Assisting in the preparation of:




- Rail track designs
- Roadworks
- Stormwater drainage systems
- Water and sewer reticulation
- Earthworks and pavement designs
- Utilities layouts
- Work-As-Executed (WAE) drawings

Technical Support
- Assisting with basic hydrological and hydraulic calculations
- Using Watercom DRAINS software (training and support provided where required)
- Supporting senior engineers with documentation and design development

About You To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be undertaking or have completed a Diploma of Civil Construction Design or Associate Diploma of Civil Engineering / Engineering Design
- Have demonstrated working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
- Experience with Watercom DRAINS software (advantageous but not essential)
- Hold a current White Card
- Hold a valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Be motivated, proactive and eager to grow your engineering career
