Cowes

Two exciting opportunities to tell stories that matter.

- Two full-time, permanent positions with Phillip Island Nature Parks.
- Versatile hybrid working arrangements in a stunning coastal environment.
- Remuneration: Level 4 under the Phillip Island Nature Parks Enterprise Agreement.

About the Company

Imagine working somewhere that combines world-famous wildlife experiences, breathtaking coastal landscapes and conservation stories worth sharing with the world.

At Phillip Island Nature Parks, that's what we do every day.

From the nightly spectacle of little penguins returning home at the world-famous Penguin Parade to protecting precious wildlife habitats, delivering unforgettable visitor experiences and supporting groundbreaking conservation research, there is no shortage of extraordinary stories to tell.

We're a leading conservation and sustainable tourism organisation, managing more than 1,980 hectares of spectacular coastal reserves, wetlands and woodlands across Phillip Island (Milawul).

Our tourism experiences help fund the vital conservation, research and education work that protects our wildlife and natural environment for future generations.

We're passionate about what we do, proud of the difference we make and committed to creating an inclusive, supportive workplace where people can thrive.

Now we're looking for two talented people to help us share our stories, connect with audiences and inspire more people to discover the Nature Parks.

About the Role

Love great marketing, compelling content and making things happen? This could be your next adventure.

We're looking for two enthusiastic and highly organised Communications and Content professionals to join our Marketing and Communications team.

These are exciting, hands-on roles where no two days are quite the same.

One day you could be coordinating a campaign to attract visitors to our world-famous Penguin Parade. The next, you might be helping share an incredible wildlife conservation story, developing engaging content, working with creative agencies or supporting a media opportunity that puts Phillip Island Nature Parks in the spotlight.

You'll work across marketing, communications, digital content, internal communications, media and stakeholder engagement, helping bring ideas to life and ensuring campaigns and projects are delivered brilliantly.

In these roles, you'll have the opportunity to:

- Coordinate exciting marketing campaigns and visitor promotions that inspire people to discover Phillip Island Nature Parks.
- Help uncover and share compelling stories about our wildlife, conservation research, people and visitor experiences.
- Create and coordinate engaging content for websites, digital channels, media, newsletters and corporate communications.
- Work alongside creative agencies, designers, content producers and internal teams to deliver high-quality campaigns and communications.
- Support media opportunities, events and stakeholder engagement activities that build awareness of our work.
- Keep projects and campaigns on track, juggling priorities, coordinating workflows and turning great ideas into action.
- Monitor campaign and digital performance, identifying opportunities to improve how we connect with our audiences.

You'll be part of a collaborative team working across some of Victoria's most recognisable wildlife experiences, with the opportunity to contribute your ideas, develop your skills and make a genuine impact. And the best part? The work you do will help connect people with nature and support the protection of wildlife.

About you

You're a natural organiser, a creative thinker and someone who loves turning ideas into results.

You might come from a marketing, communications, digital or project coordination background. What matters most is your energy, initiative, collaborative approach and ability to make great things happen.

You'll bring

- Experience coordinating marketing, media, communications, digital content or campaign activities.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with an eye for engaging, audience-focused content.
- Confidence working with a range of people, from internal teams and stakeholders to external agencies and creative partners.
- A proactive,

solutions-focused attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved.
- An eye for detail, an understanding of digital channels and a desire to deliver great results.
- A genuine interest in tourism, conservation, wildlife or creating work that makes a positive difference.

You'll be equally comfortable developing content, coordinating a campaign or bringing different people together to deliver a project. Most importantly, you'll be someone who brings enthusiasm, curiosity and fresh thinking to the team.

The Benefits A great career opportunity in a pretty extraordinary place.

At Phillip Island Nature Parks, we offer more than just a job. You'll join a purpose-driven organisation where your work contributes to something bigger.

Here's what you can look forward to:

- Meaningful work: Help promote unforgettable wildlife experiences while contributing to vital conservation and research outcomes.
- Flexible working: Hybrid working arrangements that support work-life balance and team collaboration.
- An incredible location: Work in one of Victoria's most beautiful coastal environments, surrounded by stunning landscapes and unique wildlife.
- A supportive team: Join a welcoming, collaborative and inclusive workplace where your ideas and contributions are valued.
- Career development: Opportunities to grow your skills and gain experience across marketing, communications, digital, tourism and conservation.
- Great employment conditions: Positions covered by the Phillip Island Nature Parks Enterprise Agreement, with excellent leave entitlements, including paid parental leave.
- Employee benefits: Discounts on attraction entry, food, beverages and retail purchases.
- Wellbeing support: Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your family.

How to Apply

If you're excited by the opportunity to work with incredible people, create engaging campaigns and help share some of Australia's most remarkable wildlife and conservation stories, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply by submitting your resume and a cover letter, that is less than two pages, telling us how you meet the key selection criteria and why you'd be a excellent addition to the Phillip Island Nature Parks team.
