Your new role
Based in Joondalup, you'll join the team as a Sales Assistant, delivering an exceptional in-store experience while helping customers find the right products for their needs.

- Conducting product and cooking demonstrations
- Supporting customers with outdoor and alfresco kitchen selections
- Managing the sales process, including quotes, orders, supplier coordination and customer follow-up
- Maintaining product displays and supporting visual merchandising
- Processing transactions and assisting with stock deliveries
- Working closely with the wider team to achieve sales goals
- Completing some manual handling and heavy lifting when required, although this will not be an extensive part of the role
- Working weekends as part of the regular roster, with two days off during the week
What you'll need to succeed
Previous sales experience is essential and non-negotiable for this position. We're looking for someone confident in engaging with customers, identifying their needs and converting conversations into sales. You'll also bring:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A proactive, confident and consultative approach to sales
- The ability to build rapport and recommend appropriate products
- Confidence learning and demonstrating products to customers
- Positive technology skills, with exposure to systems such as Salesforce, Retail Express and Microsoft Office are advantageous.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work weekends as part of your regular roster
- The ability to undertake some manual handling and lifting when required
- Knowledge of outdoor kitchens, BBQs, outdoor entertaining or related products would be highly regarded
What you'll get in return

You'll join a specialist environment where you can develop strong product knowledge, manage customers throughout the sales journey and be part of a supportive, collaborative team.
