We are currently seeking a motivated and responsible Logistics Manager to join our team full time in Doncaster East, Victoria.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Manage storage,
inventory & organise timely cargo pick up / deliveries as per the deadlines given- Monitor total supply chain operations & provide best solutions to cater customer requirements- Compare market rates frequently & go for cost effective methods / solutions to be competitive within the industry- Have monthly meetings with customers, identify their requirements/concerns & provide better solutions- Promote & secure new businesses on aforementioned areas within local & from international customers- Be updated on the global issues which may affect international supply chain & use alternative routes for FCLs & Air Freight Import & Export shipment to minimise delays- Knowledge on LCL Imports & Exports for faster & cost-effective solutions
Applicants must display a minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar Logistics Manager role, and hold a Bachelor degree or similar qualification in Logistics & Supply Chain.A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, dependant on experience.
