Role Description The Construction Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Sydney Area. This role involves overseeing construction activities, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing plans and specifications, conducting site inspections, monitoring progress, and identifying and resolving technical or operational issues.

Specialist will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to align construction outcomes with project goals and regulatory requirements. The role also requires maintaining accurate documentation, reporting on project status, and supporting continuous improvement across construction processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Construction and Inspection skills to manage site activities, quality, and safety compliance.
- Candidates should possess Architecture-related understanding to interpret drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to support cost estimation, tracking, and financial control of projects.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation, reporting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
- Relevant experience in commercial or industrial construction projects, preferably within the Greater Sydney Area.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on safety.
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field is highly regarded.
