About The Company
Softtest Pays Pty works with organisations to connect skilled technology professionals with meaningful projects. This opportunity supports the development and improvement of Microsoft business applications and cloud-integrated solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative delivery team, working with technical and business stakeholders to create secure, practical solutions that meet documented requirements.
About The Role
Softtest Pays Pty is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 and Power Platform professional to develop, configure and support CRM capabilities in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will work across Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Dataverse and Azure services, translating business needs into reliable applications, integrations, workflows and reporting tools. The role involves hands-on development, configuration, deployment and data migration, as well as clear communication with stakeholders and collaboration with geographically dispersed teams.
The ideal candidate brings at least six years of relevant technical experience and is comfortable working across both Microsoft business applications and supporting cloud technologies. You will be expected to manage competing priorities, communicate progress against agreed deadlines and adjust delivery approaches when requirements or project information change.
Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate at least six years of experience developing and configuring Dynamics 365 and Power Apps modules, including CRM workflows, plug-ins, cloud flows and external data source connectors or integrations.
Experience creating CRM dashboards from user stories and documented requirements, and configuring views for different business audiences, is required.
You will have a comprehensive understanding of the Dynamics 365 security model, including security roles, field-level permissions, team-based access and hierarchy-based security. Practical experience designing CRM access controls, managing role and field permissions, and performing data migrations using scripts and migration tools is essential.
Additional experience should include Azure services and tools such as Key Vault, Application Insights, App Services, API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus. Applicants should also bring experience with Dataverse API integrations, Power Automate, background workflows, plug-ins, ASP.NET, the .NET Framework and C# development. Familiarity with Azure DevOps source control, builds, deployments and work-item tracking, SharePoint Online, and Azure OpenAI Service is required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are important. You should be able to explain technical concepts in business terms, work effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues,
and support junior developers through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities
Develop, configure and enhance Dynamics 365 and Power Apps solutions in line with business requirements. Build and maintain integrations, connectors, workflows, plug-ins and cloud flows that connect CRM with external systems and Azure services. Create and configure dashboards that provide useful insights for different business consumers.
Design and maintain security models, access controls and permissions. Support data migration activities, including preparation, scripting, execution and validation. Use Azure DevOps to manage source control, builds, deployments and delivery tasks. Communicate progress, risks and work-item status, contribute to agile planning, adapt to changing priorities, and share sound development practices across the team.
Benefits
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex Dynamics 365 and Azure initiatives while working with a multidisciplinary team. You will apply a broad range of Microsoft technologies, develop your cloud and business application expertise, and support knowledge sharing and qualified growth within the delivery team. Employment details and applicable benefits will be discussed during the recruitment process.
Equal Opportunity
Softtest Pays Pty is committed to a fair and inclusive recruitment process. Applicants will be considered on their skills, experience and suitability for the role. Reasonable adjustments can be discussed to support candidates during the application and selection process.
