Role Description The Live Events Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Sydney Area. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end production of live events, including planning timelines, coordinating suppliers and technical crews, managing venues, and ensuring seamless event delivery.

Manager will collaborate with clients, internal creatives, and production teams to translate concepts into detailed production plans, run sheets, and technical specifications. Daily activities include budget tracking, risk assessment, logistics coordination, and on-site leadership during rehearsals, builds, and event execution.



The role also involves maintaining high safety standards, managing post-event debriefs, and continuously improving processes to enhance quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Production Management and Event Production skills, with demonstrated experience delivering live events end to end.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including stakeholder management, client liaison, and clear coordination with suppliers and technical teams.
- Candidates should possess Event Planning skills, including scheduling, logistics coordination, and resource management for complex, multi-day events.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting skills, with the ability to scope, cost, track, and reconcile event budgets while optimizing value.
- Relevant experience in live events, experiential marketing, or creative production environments is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple projects under time pressure are important.
- Comfort working in office during builds, rehearsals, and events, including evenings or weekends as needed.
- Familiarity with staging, lighting, audio-visual technologies, and vendor management is an advantage.
- Formal training or a degree in Event Management, Production, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
