M.J. Bale is looking for a confident and commercially driven Assistant Store Business Manager to help lead our concession inside David Jones Southland.
This is a 28-hour part-time role with genuine leadership responsibility, strong earning potential and room to grow.
About The Role
Working alongside the Store Business Manager, you’ll lead from the floor, drive sales and deliver the personal service M.J. Bale is known for.
Your Day Will Include
- Driving individual and concession sales targets
- Delivering expert advice across fit, styling and product
- Building a loyal base of new and returning customers
- Coaching and motivating the team
- Maintaining strong presentation and merchandising standards
- Supporting stock management and daily operations
- Building a positive working relationship with the wider David Jones team
- Leading the concession when the Store Business Manager is away
About You
Desired Skills and Experience
You’ll Bring
- Retail leadership experience, ideally within fashion or premium retail
- A strong sales record and confidence working towards targets
- Natural leadership skills and a hands-on approach
- A genuine ability to build long-term customer relationships
- Strong organisation, presentation and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work a retail roster, including weekends
