OCRT Consulting is a sovereign, veteran-owned Australian SME delivering professional services across Defence, Government and national security. We’re looking for experienced program delivery practitioners to support a Federal Government client on a major, multi-year digital transformation program.

The opportunity:

You’ll join the program leadership and PMO function of a large program modernising critical government systems through iterative, cross-functional delivery. We’re seeking candidates across a range of roles:

- Program Director / Deputy Program Director: provide overall program leadership in support of the Senior Responsible Officer
- Workstream Lead: lead a group of projects within a program workstream
- Project Manager: lead discrete projects within the program
- Master Scheduler: own program planning and schedule tracking, including the tooling behind it
- PMO Analyst: drive accurate, efficient program reporting and status visibility
- Financial Analyst: track program finances and build and own finance processes and tooling

Across all roles, you’ll support program governance, track risks, issues and dependencies, and report to steering and external review bodies. Building capability within the client team is a core part of every role, through coaching, knowledge sharing and reusable artefacts.

24-month engagement starting early January, with options to extend.

What we’re looking for:





- Relevant experience in your discipline on large technology, business or government transformation programs (seniority will vary by role)
- Experience delivering in agile or hybrid environments
- Strong governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience coaching or mentoring client staff and transferring knowledge
- Experience building or improving PMO, scheduling or finance tooling - highly regarded
- Experience on government regulatory, registry or data-heavy programs - highly regarded
- Experience with legacy system modernisation or migration - highly regarded
- Relevant certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, AgilePM, CPA/CA) - highly regarded

Essential requirements: Australian citizen | Baseline clearance (minimum) | Canberra-based | Available to start January 2027
