We are seeking a Power BI & Reporting Analyst until end of April with high likelihood of extension to support our large enterprise sized organisation through a period of strategic planning, transition and transformation.

This role will be pivotal in driving data driven strategic decisions as we brace for transformation. Initially this role will consolidate and structure information from existing spreadsheets and develop an interactive Power BI dashboard allowing us to view and review different data.

We are looking for Power BI capability, strong analytical thinking and an understanding of how to organise and present data in a meaningful, user-friendly way. The successful candidate will be able to translate organisational information into practical reporting tools that enable stakeholders to explore data, identify trends and gain valuable insights to use in strategic decisions. .

Key Responsibilities

- Review existing spreadsheets and data sources to understand available information and reporting requirements.
- Organise, cleanse and structure data to enable effective analysis and reporting.
- Design and develop an interactive Power BI dashboard to support strategic planning and organisational decision-making.
- Build user-friendly functionality, including dropdown menus, filters, slicers and other interactive features.
- Present data in a clear,



accessible and visually meaningful format to support the interpretation of key information.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate these into practical dashboard functionality.
- Identify opportunities to improve data visibility, reporting processes and the overall usability of information.
- Test and refine the dashboard to ensure data accuracy, functionality and ease of use.
- Provide appropriate documentation and knowledge transfer to support the ongoing use and maintenance of the dashboard.

Skills and Experience

- Experience with Microsoft Power BI and dashboard development.
- Experience working with Excel spreadsheets and structured data.
- An understanding of data modelling, data relationships and how to structure information for effective reporting.
- Experience creating interactive reports using filters, slicers, dropdowns and other visualisation features.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
- The ability to understand business needs and develop practical, user-focused reporting solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
