Project Manager – Superannuation & Wealth (Day-Rate Contract)

The Opportunity We are partnering with a leading wealth and superannuation provider to secure a delivery-focused Project Manager. Stepping into a fast-paced environment, you will take ownership of a portfolio of new superannuation product and regulatory change initiatives.

This is a hands-on role for a PM who thrives on driving schedules, managing cross-functional squads, and cutting through ambiguity without needing heavy senior oversight.

What You Will Do

- Manage the end-to-end delivery of superannuation product updates or regulatory compliance changes.
- Take direct ownership of strategic workstreams, including major retirement product launches or lifecycle investment transitions.
- Maintain rigorous project schedules, RAID logs, and milestone reporting for both internal steering committees and external client stakeholders.




- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Testers to unblock delivery.
- Leverage AI tools to fast-track project administration, scheduling, and governance packs (our client heavily encourages AI-enabled delivery).

About You

- MUST HAVE Domain Expertise: Strong background in Australian Superannuation, Pensions, and Investments. You understand wealth platforms and the current regulatory landscape.
- Delivery Experience: 4–7 years of dedicated project management experience. You are a self-starter who knows how to independently drive mid-tier complexity projects.
- Change Background: Proven track record delivering regulatory compliance changes, tax reporting updates, or recent financial product implementations.
- Agile/Waterfall: Comfortable operating in a hybrid delivery environment.
- Location: Based in Melbourne or Sydney
