The role

Applications are sought for the position ofRoad Maintenance Supervisor.

The key responsibilities of this role will be:

- Supervise the safe and efficient delivery of site road maintenance activities.
- Coordinate crews, contractors, plant and resources across grading, road repairs, drainage, dust suppression and minor works.
- Inspect roads, identify hazards and defects, and prioritise maintenance to maintain safe operational access.
- Coordinate road closures, traffic controls, detours and reopening activities.
- Promote safe driving practices and compliance with site traffic and safety requirements.
- Liaise with operational teams and contractors to coordinate daily works and maintenance priorities.




- Monitor work quality, plant availability, materials and progress, addressing issues and resource constraints.
- Support incident reporting, corrective actions and ongoing road safety and improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate upkeep of landfill areas, access tracks and associated waste-management infrastructure.

About you To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

- Experience in road maintenance, civil earthworks or haul road operations, ideally within mining or a similar operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience in road safety, traffic compliance and incident investigation, including addressing unsafe driving behaviours.
- Previous experience supervising crews, contractors, plant and materials to deliver safe and efficient works.
- Practical knowledge of grading, road repairs, drainage, resheeting, dust suppression and wet-weather road management.
- Strong understanding of road hazards, risk controls and the safe operation of mobile plant around operational traffic.
- Positive planning, communication and reporting skills, with the ability to prioritise daily works and maintain accurate records.




- A current WA C Class Driver’s Licence and the ability to meet site access and fitness-for-work requirements.

Highly regarded:

- 5+ years’ relevant experience, particularly within gold mining.
- Civil construction, road maintenance or frontline supervision qualifications.
- Grader, loader, excavator or other mobile plant competencies.
- Experience in traffic management, road closures and landfill maintenance.
