Xavier College is seeking an innovative and dedicated SACE Flexible Pathways and Support Coordinator for our Gawler Belt (7-12) campus. This POR3 position is offered as a fixed-term appointment for a period of four years, commencing January 2027. This position includes a permanent, full-time teaching position.

Working in partnership with campus leaders, teachers and support staff, the SACE Flexible Pathways and Support Coordinator will provide strategic leadership of flexible learning pathways, career education and student support programs to ensure students successfully achieve their SACE. The role will lead the delivery of innovative pathway opportunities, coordinate targeted interventions for students requiring additional support, and work collaboratively with families and external providers to foster positive educational outcomes and successful post-school transitions.

This role includes a teaching component and should be considered in conjunction with the Teacher Position Information Document.

As the SACE Flexible Pathways and Support Coordinator, you will:

- Lead and coordinate the delivery of flexible learning pathways, including Vocational Education and Training (VET), career education and Pathways and Transitions initiatives.
- Provide strategic leadership and support for students requiring flexible approaches to learning, ensuring successful engagement, retention and SACE completion.
- Lead and support the Flexible Pathways team, including the Career Counsellor, VET Coordinator and study support staff, through effective communication, coaching and professional collaboration.
- Collaborate with leaders, teachers, families and external agencies to develop personalised interventions and responsive pathways for students at risk of non-completion.
- Oversee the administration,



assessment and moderation requirements of SACE Cross-Disciplinary Studies and ensure compliance with SACE Board expectations.
- Coordinate academic tutoring and study support programs that strengthen student engagement, achievement and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the development of innovative and inclusive pathway opportunities that support diverse learners and prepare students for successful post-school futures.
