Senior Business Analyst – Superannuation & Wealth (Day-Rate Contract)

The Opportunity We are partnering with a leading wealth and superannuation provider to secure a delivery-focused Senior Business Analyst. Stepping into a fast-paced environment, you will bridge the gap between business strategy, regulatory compliance, and technology execution across a portfolio of superannuation initiatives.

This is a hands-on role for a BA who excels at cutting through ambiguity, mapping complex operational workflows, and translating legislative and product changes into robust functional specifications.

What You Will Do

- Lead requirement elicitation, workshops, and gap analysis for new retirement product features, lifecycle investment changes, or regulatory and tax compliance streams.
- Produce high-quality documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Map complex current-state (As-Is) and target-state (To-Be) business processes across wealth platforms, registry systems, and operational teams.




- Partner closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, Architects, and Developers to ensure traceability and technical feasibility.
- Work with QA teams and business stakeholders to design test scenarios, support UAT execution, and ensure solutions meet legislative and operational requirements.
- Leverage AI tools to fast-track project administration, scheduling, and governance packs (our client heavily encourages AI-enabled delivery).

About You

- MUST HAVE Domain Expertise: Strong background in Australian Superannuation, Pensions, and Investments. You understand wealth platforms and the current regulatory landscape.
- Delivery Experience: 7+ years of dedicated business analysis experience within financial services, with a proven ability to operate independently across mid-to-high complexity initiatives.
- Change Background: Proven track record delivering regulatory compliance changes, tax reporting updates, or new financial product implementations.
- Agile/Waterfall: Comfortable operating in a hybrid delivery environment.
- Location: Based in Melbourne or Sydney
