About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Data Architect to lead data discovery, documentation and assurance across our customer platform.

Working closely with Product Management, Engineering and IT teams, you will map complex data structures, relationships, workflows and integrations, creating a reliable knowledge base to support platform development, operational resilience and future initiatives.

This is an exciting chance to work across a complex multi-tenant SaaS environment, with scope to contribute to broader database management, optimisation and data governance initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead database discovery, analysis and documentation across the Cm3 platform.
- Develop data models, dictionaries, lineage diagrams and technical runbooks.
- Map data relationships, workflows, integrations and dependencies.
- Assess data quality, access controls, security and governance practices.
- Build sustainable, version-controlled technical documentation.
- Collaborate with technical teams to support knowledge transfer and future platform improvements.

About You





We're looking for someone who brings:
- Significant experience as a Data Architect, Database Architect, Senior DBA or Database Engineer.
- Strong hands-on expertise in MySQL 8, AWS Aurora, SQL and data modelling.
- Experience with complex enterprise databases and multi-tenant SaaS environments.
- Proven capability in data discovery, documentation, profiling and lineage mapping.
- Understanding of database security, RBAC, integrations and data governance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

Experience with MongoDB, DynamoDB, AWS, Kafka, Power BI or application technologies such as PHP and Node.js will be highly regarded.
