- Work closely with operational teams, scheme coordinators and other stakeholders to strengthen compliance and accountability.
- Supervise and mentor an Internal Audit Officer, supporting their technical development and performance.
About You
You're a practical, solutions-focused audit professional who enjoys investigating issues, solving problems and finding better ways of doing things. You take pride in your work, exercise sound judgement and know how to build effective relationships while maintaining independence and integrity.
You'll bring
- At least 5 years' experience in internal audit, external audit, risk, compliance or fraud investigation.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Experience reviewing financial and operational processes, internal controls and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and constructively.
- The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A practical, commercially aware approach, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job properly.
Experience conducting audits across multiple operational sites will be highly regarded, as will a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification or progress towards certification.
