Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Shopify Ecommerce Partnerships Manager. The role is responsible for identifying, building, and managing strategic partnerships within the Shopify ecosystem, including agencies, app partners, and high-growth merchants. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and pitching partnership opportunities, conducting product demos, negotiating and closing partner agreements, and maintaining strong partner relationships through regular check-ins and performance reviews.

The role also involves collaborating with marketing and product teams to develop joint campaigns, co-marketing initiatives, and integration improvements that drive adoption of Taxcart among Shopify merchants.

The Partnerships

Manager will track pipeline metrics, analyze partner performance,



and prepare reports and recommendations to support revenue growth and expansion in the Shopify ecommerce segment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret data, evaluate partner performance, and make data-informed decisions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication abilities, including relationship management, presentation skills, and clear written and verbal communication.
- Candidates should possess proven Sales experience, including prospecting, negotiation, closing deals, and managing a partnership or business development pipeline.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of E-Commerce and the Shopify ecosystem, including apps, agencies, and merchant workflows.
- Candidates should possess Marketing-related skills, such as collaborating on co-marketing campaigns, positioning partner offerings, and supporting go-to-market activities.
- Relevant additional qualifications include experience in SaaS or fintech, familiarity with tax or compliance solutions, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
