WHAT PAID TRAVEL CAN LOOK LIKE For illustration: you are based in Glen Waverley and complete a local visit with a 20 km round trip, taking 20 minutes each way. Using the applicant portal’s speech pathology illustration, 40 approved travel minutes plus 20 eligible kilometres would add approximately $84.47 to your session fee: $64.67 for travel time and $19.80 towards vehicle costs.

THE ROLE





You'll deliver evidence-based speech pathology assessments and therapy, including support for NDIS participants. Your work will include:

- Providing mobile appointments in clients' homes and community settings across Melbourne, alongside telehealth consultations.
- Developing individualised therapy plans around each person's goals, preferences and everyday routines.
- Supporting communication, language and participation within your clinical scope and experience.
- Working with families, carers and the wider care team to help strategies carry over between sessions.
- Maintaining transparent clinical notes, reports and progress updates.

ABOUT YOU

- A recognised qualification in Speech Pathology and current Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Confidence delivering person-centred, evidence-based care and managing your clinical responsibilities independently.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- A driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle for mobile appointments.
- Appropriate worker screening and Working with Children clearance for your caseload, or willingness to obtain them before commencing.
- Australian working rights, an ABN and the ability to meet contractor credentialing and insurance requirements.
