Are you looking to start a career in the transport industry but don’t yet have the experience?

Goldstar

Transport is excited to announce Goldstar Academy, our very own training program designed to give you the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to take the next steps in becoming a professional truck driver.

Over the course of 8-12 weeks, you will be exposed to both the theoretical and practical aspects of truck driving. You’ll be learning from experienced operators and developing the skills required to operate heavy vehicles safely and responsibly.

Best of all, successful candidates will also be given an opportunity to work with us after completing the program on a full-time basis.

What You’ll Learn

Throughout this program, you will gain hands on experience and training in:

- Safe operation and handling of heavy vehicles
- Load restraint techniques, including the use of straps and chains
- Road rules, transport regulation and driver responsibilities
- Vehicle prestart inspections and basic safety checks
- Hazard awareness and safe driving practices
- Practical driving techniques and real-world transport operations





As our operations span multiple business units across the Perth metro area, flexibility to work across different locations is essential.

About You

While some experience in the transport and logistics industry is an advantage, what we’re really looking for are people who have a positive attitude, are reliable and a genuine desire to establish a long-term career in the transport industry.
