Tadpole Studios makes fast, platform-native political video for sitting MPs, candidates and advocacy groups. We’re looking for a vertical video producer to be a creative partner: someone who spends most of their time on the tools but owns their work from the idea to the final export.

You’ll cut brilliantly, follow the news closely, have opinions on what makes people stop scrolling, and help shape campaigns, not just execute them.

What you’ll do: self-produce short-form vertical videos and hero spots, from shaping the hook and script through to the final cut. You’ll pitch formats and ideas, turn reactive content around fast when news breaks, and sit in on client calls so you understand the brief first-hand.

Who you are: you have two or more years making short-form video,



ideally in a newsroom or social media team. You can take a rough idea and turn it into a finished piece without hand-holding. You’re quick in Premiere and Descript, know your way around standard AI tools, you write sharp hooks, you’re across Australian politics, and you’re comfortable with pressure and tight deadlines.

The arrangement: part-time to start, three days a week, Surry Hills or hybrid, with room to grow into a full-time role with more creative ownership.
