About the opportunity

A large government agency is modernising a long-standing, customer-facing service environment as part of a multi-year digital transformation agenda. The work goes well beyond technology, reshaping business processes, workforce capability, data use and legislative responsiveness. Several Project Managers are being engaged, each leading a defined project Pathway from Start Up through to Completion. You will work alongside Product and Service Owners in a PRINCE2 setting that applies agile delivery practices. This is a multi year program.

The role

- Lead delivery of your project Pathway end to end, to agreed scope, schedule, quality, budget and benefit targets
- Coordinate delivery teams and a working group, giving clear direction and decisions
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, change requests and priorities
- Own the project budget,



schedule and resource allocation
- Report accurately to the Project Board, Senior Users and senior management, with governance and assurance in place

What you'll bring

- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification
- Delivery of complex technology transformation, including migration from legacy systems to contemporary platforms
- Referenceable projects you have led from commencement to completion in complex regulated and/or government environments

Highly regarded: public and private sector experience, project tools such as MS Project and Jira/Confluence, leading teams across the full project lifecycle, and a Scrum Master or similar agile qualification.
