We are seeking experienced Senior Network Engineers to join a leading Federal Government Agency. The successful Senior Network Engineers will be responsible for the design, implementation, management and support of complex enterprise network environments across on-premise and cloud platforms. Working within a high-performing ICT team, you will play a key role in ensuring secure, reliable and high-performing network services that support critical business operations. You will be offered an initial 6 month contract with three further 12 month extension options and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure to meet performance, availability and security requirements
- Configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers and other critical network technologies
- Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting complex issues and implementing solutions to optimise service delivery
- Supporting network security initiatives including vulnerability remediation, VPNs, DNS, DHCP and routing services




- Developing technical documentation, network standards and providing technical input into procurement and evaluation activities

The successful Senior Network Engineer will have:

- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco, HPE Aruba, Fortinet and Palo Alto technologies
- Strong expertise in routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing and network architecture
- Experience supporting and securing cloud networking environments across Microsoft Azure and AWS
- Experience using network monitoring, automation, scripting and diagnostic tools within complex enterprise environments
- Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking or equivalent highly regarded
