We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Senior Solution Architect will lead the end-to-end architecture and design of a major digital transformation initiative, delivering secure, accessible and scalable solutions across enterprise applications, integrations, data, identity and payment systems. The successful candidate will secure an initial 6-month contract with potential extension and receive rewarding hourly rates.

The Senior Solution Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Leading end-to-end solution architecture and design across applications, integrations, data, security and cloud platforms
- Developing target-state architectures, technical specifications, transition roadmaps and solution design artefacts
- Designing secure integration patterns, APIs, identity and access management solutions and payment system integrations
- Assessing technology options, conducting solution evaluations and supporting procurement and vendor selection activities
- Providing technical leadership, architecture governance and assurance throughout implementation and transition to operations





The Senior Solution Architect will have experience in the following:

- Extensive experience delivering solution architecture for large-scale digital transformation programs, ideally within Federal or State Government
- Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, solution design, integration patterns and architecture governance
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, API management and identity services
- Knowledge of Australian Government Architecture, Digital Experience Policy, security, privacy and accessibility requirements
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect or relevant architecture certifications highly regarded
