GTNT Group are now recruiting for a Diesel Fitter apprentice to work with Territory Generation across two stations in Alice Springs. This fantastic chance is offering a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology AUR31120 with paid employment! This position can be offered as either Full Time or School Based for successful candidate to commence in January/February 2027.

In this role you will be involved in the repair and maintenance of generation plant equipment. You will inspect engines, diagnose and repair faults, perform routine maintenance and dismantle and reassemble engines and other components. You will be performing preventative and corrective maintenance activities and modifications of complex engine and electricity generation equipment associated with critical power generating plant operating on natural gas and diesel fuels. You will be expected to follow safe working practices while environmental and sustainability practices in the workplace.

To be successful in this role, you will have/be: -

Have or ability to obtain a Police Check -





Ability to pass a pre employment medical including drug and alchohol testing -

Have or able to obtain a NT C class drivers licence (P's minimun) -

Year 12 students encouraged to apply
