Category 5 Labour Management is seeking reliable and motivated Recycling Sorters to join a leading national waste management and recycling company based in Bibra Lake.
We have multiple ongoing opportunities available for hardworking individuals who enjoy hands-on work and want to be part of a busy, safety-focused team.
Previous experience is not essential. We’re looking for people with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
As a Recycling Sorter, you’ll play an important part in keeping recycling operations running smoothly.
Your duties will include:
- Sorting recyclable materials and removing contaminants from conveyor belts
- Monitoring production lines and material flow
- Performing repetitive manual handling tasks
- General cleaning, sweeping and housekeeping
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following workplace safety procedures and instructions
- Working collaboratively to meet daily production targets
What We’re Looking For
- Current WA Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- Full Australian working rights
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive, hands-on work
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Reliable attendance and commitment to scheduled shifts
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Willingness to obtain Hepatitis A & B immunisations if required
- Ability to complete online inductions before commencing
Previous recycling, manufacturing, production or general labouring experience is desirable but not essential. Reliability, teamwork and a commitment to safety are what matter most.
