Role Description/Criteria

Our school needs a passionate and energetic, classroom teacher, to join our school team in 2027.

This is a contract position for the 2027 school year.

Applicants for the position should have a an understanding of recent educational initiatives and a positive attitude towards planning, delivering and assessing quality curriculum. All applicants must:

- understand and support the Catholic ethos and the vision of the school
- be familiar with all policies and legal responsibilities concerning the safety, care and well-being of all students
- have the ability to use data to inform teaching and learning
- have the ability to work as part of a team
- have a sound knowledge and understanding of Religious Education within a Catholic Primary School
- have the ability to work in partnership with the school community
- have an understanding and commitment to Child Safety

Special Requirements

All applicants must have:

- a current VIT registration
- current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to undertake a First Aid Course)
- knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and Key Curriculum Knowledge Learning
- a commitment to child safety and knowledge of the Child Safety Standards
