We currently have a number of opportunities for experienced Water/Dewatering Supervisors and Leading Hands to work with our client a major mining operator. Ideally, you will have a solid mix of project construction and maintenance experience. These roles are FIFO Perth working a 2:2 roster, all days on an initial 6-month contract with mid and late November starts.
Project Supervisors
Core responsibilities
- Conduct pre-start inspections (PSIs).
- Allocate daily tasks to the team.
- Report safety events in accordance with site requirements.
- Conduct field inspections and safety interactions.
About you
- Proven experience in a mining environment, specifically dewatering operations
- Previous leadership or supervision experience, ideally within maintenance or project delivery teams
- Section 26 Statutory Supervisor qualification (Mandatory)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Competency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably SAP
Leading Hands
Core responsibilities
- Operating Machinery where required
- Coordinating Tasks
- Working alongside Water team - helping out where required
- Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with site procedures
About you
- Prior experience in the water/dewatering industry
- Experience leading and/or coordinating dewatering crews highly desirable
- Experience leading crews in high-risk mining environments
- Australian Manual C Class Driver's Licence – HR Licence, High Risk Work Licence; Dogging, Forklift, Crane, Telehandler, IT Loader and Poly Welding tickets
- Construction white card
- SAP experience and Microsoft Office experience
